Some of the recommended Youtube channels below. These guys have some amazing videos and strategies. Please make sure to check them out.
One hive - A highly successful war clan

HulkFiles - Has some great strategy videos too

Both these clans Onehive and Reddit troopers focus on getting 3 stars on TH9 and 2 on TH10. They are now at a position where they clean up TH9s and they are experimenting on different strategies for TH10. Most of their wars are boring, the enemy doesnt even try.
Strategies and Bases:
The sole purpose of this page is to create a database of the commonly used base designs and attack strategies. Most of the players look up on the forums or internet to find a base for war, there are some who modify it slightly by replacing traps or exchanging cannons with ATs etc to confuse the attacker and there are some who make their own design. The idea of this page here is to capture these designs and identify them as soon as we see in war and use the recommended strategy. This way we can focus rest of our attacks on new designs. One day we should be in a stage where we look at a base and call out the name and strategy, that is the aim.
Ofcourse making such a database is not something can be done overnight. Its a process which will go on and on. However if we are able to capture most commonly used ones then we should be good. Right now am focusing only TH9s as they are the key for us. We get TH8s quite easily and TH10s are not that easy to 3 star. So if we are able to 3 star most of the TH9s then we should be in a very good position to win most of our wars. I would love to record our 3 star attacks and increase our data base but this is something for the future. For now base designs and attack strategies from forums and youtube.
I will also try to add attacks that are very interesting from our wars, however this is at my own discretion. It has to be a 3 star first and then I shall discuss with the attacker all the details and then put it online. I am also trying to figure out an easier way to record these attacks, if anyone wants to help you are welcome.
Some terminologies I will be using are below ( i take no credit for them, these are courtesy so fabulous players in the game)
Base Design No1 - Tsunami - Holowiwi
As you can see from the image below all ADs and Teslas are in the center so a HoLoWiWi is by far the best stragegy for this base. I have tried it myself and it worked second time. Watch out for the double GB, a modification of this base could have the teslas and GBs swapped or GBs put at different spots. There could be some simple differences like the huts and barracks are at different places. In general the identifier is Teslas, ADs, Xbows and heroes at the center, then a layer of stupid stuff and then the outer layer of defenses. That is why Holowiwi is the best strategy here. Link of an example attack below.

Some terminologies I will be using are below ( i take no credit for them, these are courtesy so fabulous players in the game)
- HoLoWiWi - Hogs, Loons, Wizards and Witches
- Swarm Holo - A variation of HoLoWiWi with almost equal balloons and hogs (about 20 each)
- Needle Holo - A variation of HoLoWiWi which is hog heavy. Generally less than 10 balloons
- GoHoWiWi - Loons replaces with one or two Golems
- Laloonion - LavaHounds, Loons and Minions - Quad or Tri or Bi prefixed means the no.of Hounds.

Base No2 - Alpha Sector - Swarm Holo
The second base in our list is called Alpha sector. As you can see its quite easy to identify with all 4 sides having an opening for a barrack (this could be a Elix pump or gold mine or anything). Swarm Holo works on this base however watchout which direction you start depending on the traps.

Base no 3 - The General - Most Holowiwi combinations
This is quite an intimidating base when you look at this picture but HoLoWiWi has had incredible success on this base. I have myself have tried this strategy on this base and it worked despite a few mistakes. This is also a very commonly used base with many variations. One of the most commonly used variation is its flipped 180 degrees - meaning the 2 close WT and one AT are north and the 2 WT which are far apart with an AT between them is in the center(imagine a mirror image). I think because of the popularity of this base there have been quite a few variations so its not very easy to identify this base.
The easiest way to identify this base is based on the position of the ADs, heroes, xbows and the general shape. Recommended strategies.
- Needle Holo
- Swarm Holo
- Laloonion
The first video is much close to the original base design, the rest are variations.

Base no 4 - Sucker Punch - Needle Holo
Sucker punch is quite easy to identify. There are not many variations too on this base, the only one i have seen is mirror image. Basically TH not centered and spots open for teslas and CC and heroes centered is an easy identification. Needle Holo works well but needs precision.

Base No 5 - Mindblower - Swarm Holo
This is one of those designs which suits its name. It looks like a troll base but its not. Its got a lot of "technology" in it. There is funneling, protecting the TH, pathing of attacking troops etc. For starters, your troops would circle around the base before thinking about the center and the TH is not in range for your queen to shoot it down. Again Holo works quite well here, just be patient before you put your hogs down. Let the queen be engaged and then put your hogs and use double heal at the center and the last one when the king is attacking them.
